About Me & Resume
I am a Mechanical Engineer (M.S. & B.S.) with a broad set of interests across automotive engineering, motorsport, robotics, automation, and aerospace. My work combines technical problem-solving with hands-on design and prototyping, moving projects from concept through testing and refinement. My experience spans leading the SAE Baja team, where I grew a small group of students into a competitive engineering team and oversaw the complete design, fabrication, and racing of off-road vehicles. My graduate thesis focused on developing a single-camera robotic pick-and-place system, advancing affordable automation for small and medium manufacturers through vision-guided robotics. For my capstone project, I created a smart air-shock control system that integrated pneumatics, electronics, and computing into a proof-of-concept product, designed for universal application on off-road vehicles. Together, these projects reflect both technical depth and versatility, applying engineering fundamentals across a wide range of applications. Through these experiences, I’ve built strengths in hands-on prototyping, system integration, and testing, as well as in CAD design, computer simulation, embedded systems, and data analysis. I’ve managed teams, coordinated interdisciplinary projects, and worked under time and budget constraints, gaining valuable skills in project planning, leadership, and technical communication. I am motivated to contribute to innovative projects in mechanical systems, advanced manufacturing, and applied engineering design, where I can apply both technical knowledge and hands-on experience to deliver impactful results.
